STAIN BLOCKING COATINGS

Unique water based Technology

SeraPlus has developed a family of water based coatings, based on vegetable oils, which offers virtually all the advantages of solvent based products with similar features. The technology is characterised by the following features and benefits:

• Irreproachable stain blocking capacity even after the first application

• Outstanding hiding power

• Excellent acoustic properties

• Very good adhesion on a wide range of substrates

• Totally stress free film (no risk of flaking)

• Solvent free (zero VOC)

• Very low odour

• Easy application

• Excellent lay down and controlled drying without any roller marks

• Compatible with other coatings (with the exception of cationic products)

• Compatible with most commercially available tinting systems (a preliminary test is recommended)

SeraPrim Aqua is a water based non cationic primer, based on an epoxy emulsion, which can be characterised by the following features and benefits:

• Very good stain blocking capacity on nicotine, wood tannin, soot, tar, dry water stains, flash corrosion, etc.

• Remarkable adhesion on most common substrates, including but not limited to old paint films, concrete plaster board, mortar, masonry, wood, ceramic tiles, plexiglass, hard PVC, polyester and metals including galvanised steel, ferric metals and aluminium

• Suitable for interior and exterior use

• Totally stress free film (no risk of flaking)

• Easy application

• Solvent free, zero VOC (< 0.1 %)
  

• Very low odour

• Compatible with other coatings (with the exeption of cationic products)

• Compatible with most commercially available tinting systems (a preliminary test is recommended)

• SeraPrim Aqua may be over coated with water based or solvent based topcoats.

A range of mat paints, based on a mixture of acrylics and siloxane, characterised through the following features and benefits:

COATING WITH THERMAL AND ACCOUSTIC INSULATION PROPERTIES
Energy costs are constantly increasing and this obviously has an important influence on everyone's personal budget. Not only do we notice this when we fill up our cars at the petrol station, but also when we pay for our heating bills. Insulation is obviously a well known option. Even though efficient, retrofitting is however time consuming and expensive to apply.
SeraPlus has developed a modern coating technology with a very large Interior surface of the dry application which enhances thermal Insulation. This means that the coating absorbs the IR radiation which remains on the surface. This in its turn will help to conserve the temperature and as a result, it helps to reduce the heating costs. In the same way, the product also maintains and even reduces the acoustic level of the premises.
